Mahon is the capital of Menorca in the Balearic islands. The island offers beaches with water-sport rentals and a golf course in Son Park. From the harbor, the Rampa de la Abundancia leads up to the Plaza de Espana, where market stalls line the arcades of the former Carmelite friary.
