Adabiya, Egypt

Located south of the Suez Canal, Adabiya is an important commercial port with a natural harbor for ships entering or leaving the Red Sea. The Red Sea Hills, the tallest mountains in Egypt outside the Sinai Peninsula, overlook the town, sentinels to the Egyptian interior.
